"Prez Says" by Brian Smith
March 2008

The next Fort Crook meeting will be this Wednesday, March 12th at 7 PM at Confluence Bookstore in Bellevue. There is no theme contest this month. Instead, bring in a model you are working on or even one you finished. Scott Hackney will present a program on the history of the RC-135. I am sure this will be very interesting.

I will be away doing storm spotter presentations on Wednesday and Thursday. So Mike will take the helm again. Thanks again Mike!

Scott will be bringing Regional fliers that need to be folded before being sent out. Please help Scott out with this. As far as the Regional is concerned, most of the forms are available on the Ft. Crook web site. Also, we will also need models for the Regional raffle. So look over your stashes and see if you can give up some models, books, detail sets or decals. Our raffle is one of the best around, so let’s keep the tradition going.

Thanks to Neil Bable, we have booked the Confluence bookstore for the remainder of the year. The only exception is April. The bookstore is already booked. We are looking into having a pizza meeting at Valentino’s in April and moving the theme contest “Space, The Final Frontier” to the May meeting. This is not finalized yet, but I will inform you what we will be doing.

That’s all for now. Hope you can all come out on Wednesday.

Your Prez,

Brian
