The 2005 regional contests begin with the HOPE IT DON’T SNOW SHOW in Stewartsville, MInnesota on Feb.5.  This is followed four weeks later by the IPMS/Great Plains show on March 5 in the Kansas City area.  For more information, contact Frank Ciccarell at FCiccarell@aol.com.  Four weeks later, on April 2, the Plastic Surgeons in Des Moines are having a contest at Valley Free Church.

Finally, the Region 5 Convention will be April 29th and 30th at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Davenport, Iowa.  More information on that is available from Glen Broman at grbroman@aol.com.

As of mid December, 22 of 30 Region 5 chapters had submitted the appropriate chapter renewal forms, some 73%.  The next best region had 15 of 24, some 63%, and one region hadn’t any!  I’m continuing to receive pleas from our regional coordinator for trophy sponsorships at the regionals.  Our chapter has done so.  If anyone wishes to personally sponsor a trophy package, contact Glen Broman.
